Hi, I’m Sitara.

I’m a generalist operator with a background in startups, venture capital, and commercial operations. I love taking messy, cross-functional problems and turning them into systems that run without me.

At Verkada, I lead commercial operations for our enterprise business. I work across sales, product, finance, and our channel partners to set the policies and programs behind our largest deals, structure the hardest ones, and build the internal tools the team runs on. I also support hiring and developing the team.

Before that, I was an investor at Craft Ventures, backing Seed through Series D companies. Earlier, I was an early hire at two startups, later acquired by Bloomberg and Snyk, working across data, go-to-market, and partnerships.

Investing taught me how companies win. Operating taught me how they actually run. I’m building toward leading one.

Outside of work

I enjoy being active: I’m a runner, I love the gym, I’m a certified sculpt instructor, and I recently did my first Hyrox. I love meeting new people and experiencing new cultures, and I travel whenever I can. I’m also working on becoming a proper wine snob, one tasting at a time.

I grew up between the Bay Area and Bangalore, studied math at UCLA, and still hold strong opinions on the best burrito in SF.
